So I’ve heard horror stories about girlfriends who’s feet grew during their pregnancies and I felt so fortunate because with my first pregnancy they didn’t change at all! I was able to wear my normal shoes up until I gave birth (now my ankles that’s a different story all together….holy balls THEY WERE HUGE!!!!). So of course, my second pregnancy I didn’t get so lucky – my tiny little feet (size 6.5) decided they wanted to grow…not a whole lot, only to a 7, BUT that means none of my old shoes fit!
Now ladies, try explaining to your husband that you need new shoes because your foot grew due to the child the he helped you create, and that you are sacrificing your body for…yeah didn’t go so well. I mean don’t get me wrong, my husband is amazing and very understanding about a lot of things (more so than most men), but when it comes to spending money let’s just say that we don’t agree (EVER)…UGH!!!!
So for now, I make wish lists and hope that he finds some of these worthy of me getting! I was able to snag a pair of booties on major sale over the summer and I’ve already been wearing them (even though it’s still close to 90 degrees here). If y’all haven’t shopped on Sole Society yet, you’ve GOT to check it out. Their shoes are amazing and SO well priced! I’ve tried to explain to the hubs that I can get two pairs for the price of one (yup, you guessed right, it didn’t work).
Since I’m only 5’4″ and I don’t usually like to wear heels, I’ve been searching high and low for cute heels that are under 3″ (I’m on my feet almost all day so higher than that just ain’t gonna fly), so here’s my picks:
Super cute right and TOTALLY worth the money!?
I did however score these beauties at Nordstrom’s Semi Annual Clearance over the summer
(I’ve been eyeing them for 2 years!):
