WOW – it’s 9:30pm on Tuesday and I’m sitting here with a glass of wine in hand, actually looking at notes that I scribbled down in preparation for this post – WHO AM I and what happened to Sarah!? Just kidding! I kinda lost it towards the middle of last week and did some reflecting this weekend. I came to the realization that I have to start prioritizing and getting my sh*t together! I started it out this morning by actually waking up and going to workout, which is the absolute best start to my week – remind me of that next week when I want to stay tucked in bed, all warm and snuggly!
- Y’all know my love for FiA goes back just over a year now. I started working out with these women last July and when I say that they have changed my life, I truly mean it! I am in the best shape of my life, finally found something for me that I enjoy AND I have the very best of friends that I didn’t even go into this looking for. They are my tribe and I truly don’t know what I would do without them. For those of you wondering what FiA is, it stands for Females in Action. It is a FREE, peer lead workout – bootcamp style. There are locations throughout the Charleston area (as well as Charlotte, Columbia and other areas that I’m just forgetting about right now), check out their website for more information!
- GIFTS!!!! Yup – my love language is receiving gifts, at first I wasn’t proud of it but I have come to embrace it. I don’t need to be showered with a Kate Spade bag every day (just once a month will suffice – KIDDING), but a chocolate bar from the grocery store, a hand written note in my suitcase or even a rock that one of the girls picked up for me is perfect. I don’t ever doubt that my husband and girls love me, it’s just to know that something that they saw while they were out reminded them of me. Now on the flip side of receiving gifts, I LOVE TO GIVE THEM! I get so excited when it’s time to go shopping for gifts and I always try to find something special for everyone on my list!
- Cricut Explore Air – this little bad mama-jama found it’s way into my home about 2 weeks ago and I FINALLY had time to play with it this weekend, to say I’m obsessed is an understatement, ha ha! I have a running list of all the projects I want to do, but I’m starting out with personalized wooden signs (stay tuned for pics)! Oh and if it has a plain surface in my home, you KNOW that it’s going to get monogrammed (sorry P….ha ha!)
I hope y’all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you kick off your December with a bang! It’s the last month of 2016, what goals do you have left to accomplish? Go out and GET THEM!!!
