I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with different ideas for a weekly blog topic and while I was laying in bed WIDE AWAKE this morning from 1:00-3:00, I had an idea….Top 3 Tuesday…so ladies (and gentlemen….my dad and P…ha ha) here is the beginning of my insomnia induced idea!
- This product has quickly become my go-to for EVERYTHING….especially with the cold months finally upon us, I’m relying on it even more! The Cleansing Balm from Beautycounter is a coconut oil based product, with no toxic chemicals and it’s seriously got so many uses! I use it every evening to remove my makeup, then I’ll re-apply it 2-3 times/week as a hydrating mask at bedtime. Other uses include: eczema treatment, cracked heels, chapped hands, chapped lips, sunburn…plus more!
- My uber talented friend Amanda just launched her company, Sunny Disposition Co. and her talent never ceases to amaze me. We did a pop-up shop together on Sunday and she had this gem stone print there and I fell in LOVE with it….yes that’s a gem stone that she photographed….amazing right!? Check out her Etsy shop to see her other goodies which include super fun shirts and pineapple prints (that she painted!)…told y’all…UBER TALENTED….oh and she’s the better half of Dreampop Media that has taken our family pictures for the past 4 years!
- I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Inbound16 for my full-time job last week and it was full of some amazing information as well as guest speakers (Alec Baldwin, Anna Kendrick, Ali Wong plus more!). I had the pleasure of hearing Charles Duhigg speak on Thursday morning and he was phenomenal. He was one of the best speakers I have ever heard and his message has stayed with me and I’m trying to really incorporate it into my routine. He said that the most productive people are the ones that have created habits for themselves that make them think deeply. Most successful people have contemplative routines that they have created. These routines more than likely feel like work, but they truly force you to sit down and take the time to think about, and reflect on your day. If you enjoy reading and want to learn more about his train of thought, pick up his book, Smarter Faster Better: The Secrets of Being Productive in Life & Business
I’m really excited to start this as part of my Blog, if you have any requests for my Top 3 Tuesday, let me know!
